_{I know it would've been fitting to put them outside, but since they're the gods of the world, y'know, gotta be fancy and show off your palace

So these two are called Dark and Light. Other names include (respectively) Moon and Sun, Coldness and Warmth, and other synonyms. They're the gods in charge of exactly their names: Darkness takes care of the nighttime, the cold, and can be described as cold herself. Light controls the daytime, the warmth, and usually is very bubbly and outgoing. Despite the fact that they're practically twins, they don't interact much because it hurts them both - Dark doesn't like being warm, and vice versa. They have other tasks on the side, occasionally (Warmth heats up coffee/tea, and Coldness acts as the air conditioner.) Sun is an early bird, while Moon is a night owl. Sun has many friends, because the majority of the Appends are up during the day, while Moon is lonely at night. Sometimes, though, an Append or two spend the night with her to keep her company.

whOO thats a lot to type. I have some plans for this series, which I might make a journal about. The Appends will be split up in a few different ways. the first is by function/branches (similar to the US' legislative system; Moon and Sun classify under nature/elemental order, Law and Order are political/policing, etc.) the second is by ranking (think of the Titanic; Law, Order, Moon, and Sun would be highest ranking because of their function because y'know you kinda need light and order and stuff.) the third would be personality-wise (Sun and Order are very energetic, while Moon and Law are reserved and sophisticated (or at least Law, because once you crack Moon's shell, she's not half bad.)) they're going to be split up within the palace, depending on the three factors above.

so thank GOD I can turn off IKs, its a blessing. I'll be using that more, makes posing sooooooo much easier. but yes. "two pictures within about two days?" I hear you ask. yes, I was listening to Leafy Radio and got inspired to continue these pictures. I'll be displaying two at a time (unless it's ~special~) and I'll describe their personalities. they'll be opposites/contrasting Appends, and I'll add who's chummy with who in a journal. now that I think about it, it could possibly become more than a simple story...
